In this case, Ralph Ellison had to spunk one of the un earthageableest obstacles; racism. Everyday, racism is perceived as a shun position of society. When mess think of racism they automatically check over hatred, ignorance and the trial of the African American society. The 90s were a hard era for colored people; equality within races had not been yet established.
